Ok, so as many of you know by now...little René is in the middle of preparing to do his first communion and I have to say the Catholic church has changed a lot since we did our first communion...they or at least our church REQUIRES that we attend as a family, once a month what they call "Generations of Faith" and what we do here is that we talk about religion of course but we also do activities with the kids...today was all about the Rosary and they gave us a kit to make one for an adult and one for a kid...René (daddy) made the small one=adult and little René made the big one (yes, I helped him but hey it was fun) Don't they look beautiful?

Yes...I know it wasn't HER birthday party, but let's face it who else was I suppose to take pictures of?? Gage's parents were already taking pictures of him...hehehe! lol
B.F.F.? HEHHEHE!
Gage, Jessica and Emily...all the way on the back
Emily also met with her best friend Jessica! They've been together at Primorose since Emily was 4 months old and Jessica was 5 months old...wouldn't it be cool if they stay friends forever?
On Saturday Emily was invited to Gage's birthay party...it was at the park near her school...it was so much fun specially for the kids...because you guessed it! it was HOT and lucky us this park had water and the kids loved it...
There she goes my little dancing queen....
Here's my baby! I just think she looked soooooo cute....she just sat there so well behaved...
This Friday (yes, I have the time now to post things from only 2 days ago...) I was able to leave work early and attend Emily's school parade...it was a culture parade and though it was HOT, it was great...Emily's classroom was representing India, you can't really see her in this picture but this is her class and you get the whole custom thing they have going on...it was sooo cute!
AHHHH!....THE BEACH finally...it was beautiful however, extremely dangerous...the waves were very strong, needless to say we didn't get in the water...but we got wet and and made sandcastles the dog had a blast too!
On our way to the beach we stopped at the market which is right outside the community to buy some stuff and while we waited for the guys to get out the kids...well Emily gave us a wonderful photo shoot...I lost count of how many times I tried to get a "good" picture of her...and well this is what I ended up with, not bad right?
Kids jumping and having a blast!Wake up Johnny!
Ok, so no excuses as to why we haven't updated our blog...but really do I still need to tell you guys why we haven't?? I didn't think so...Now the fun stuff! last weekend we went to Melbourne...as many of you may already know...my brother in law's uncle owns a vacation home there and he pretty much lends us the house any time...so this was the time...the great thing about this house is that it has a pool and the beach is approximately 2 blocks away it's soooooooo relaxing...ok so we got there Friday night and went straight to bed...then the next morning I woke everyone up...I LOVE doing that...so the kids went to the couch to watch TV while René TRIED to cook something for breakfast...
Ok...in my defense, I didn't go to the dance because it was in the middle of the week and I was tired after a crazy day and whatever well (Where was I going with this?) Oh yeah! so René A. went to the dance w/René and for some reason he loves to take weird pictures of just everybody except for his son...this is the only picture he took of René A. and even though he looks excited we have no clue about what...the guy on the left is our PTA vice president...
And in order to talk to the parents about safety and encourage our sale...well we provided the kids with smores outside the school...the kids had so much fun...
and since this meeting was all about the popcorn sale the den leaders put together bags of popcorn and tossed them to the kids to get them excited...I am taking orders if you want any....
SUPPORT OUR PACK!
A couple of weeks ago...yes, I will go that far back (hehhehe!) we had our monthly pack meeting where my two boys...(husband and son) did the opening and I was so happy to see my little wolf and my Cub Master...saluting the flag...as you can see René A. was reading everything but he was not nervous...Doesn't he look "CUTE" in his uniform? somehow they don't look that nerdy to me anymore...OOOPS! should I worry? heheheh!
We also had sugar cane...now I haven't had these since I was living in D.R. It brought back nice memories...Danny and May actually have a sugar cane tree in their backyard! that was pretty cool to show little René...
Ok, so I know it's been a WHILE....since I posted anything....but believe me when I tell you WE'VE BEEN VERY BUSY....that said...I really missed showing off our weekends, I mean sometimes they are boring and sometimes are VERY exciting...but as long as we are together, that's all it matters...a few weekends ago we went to visit René's childhood friend Danny and his wife May and their son/René's godson Christopher...now in this picture he's only 9 months and he is growing so fast and he is soooo smart...God bless him!
